Holidays at the Hotel Sommerer

Region and arrival

Hotel Sommerer

The Hotel Sommerer is located right in the middle of the region Saalbach Hinterglemm ...

... and this is in the middle of the mountains of Salzburg. Embedded in the so called "Pinzgau", one of the most alpine regions of the Salzburger Land. The "Glemmvalley" stretches out from east to west. At the beginning of the valley there is the village of Maishofen - an important waypoint at your arrival - here you leave the main road and turn into the Glemmvalley - your holidays straight ahead.

The region around Saalbach Hinterglemm is characterized by rural and beautyful mountains-scenery.

In the north-west there are the so called "Stonemountains" like the Wilder Kaiser, the Loferer Steinberge, the Leoganger Steinberge, up to the famous Hochkönig. In the south of the Glemmvalley you can see the Hohe Tauern with there "more than thirty peaks over 3.000 meters". There is also the national park Hohe Tauern, with its world of snow and ice.

The Glemmvalley has been famous for its "skicircus" for many years - our guests find a huge variety of winter-sport-possibilities there. For more than one decade now, the Glemmvalley is also famous as the so called Bike Circus. Every year a huge number of bikers from all over the world come to Saalbach Hinterglemm for our amazing trails, feeride-tracks and downhill-lines. Furthermore Saalbach Hinterglemm is a real paradise for hiking and for nice holidays with the entire family.

If you want to be part of those who spend their holidays in Saalbach Hinterglemm, than we show you the best way to get here - you deserve it.
